Cultivated on the heights of Huehuetenango, within the prestigious Finca El Injerto, this washed SL-28 perfectly reflects the know-how of the Aguirre family. Nestled between 1,500 and 1,920 m altitude, the farm benefits from a terroir rich in minerals and a cool microclimate which promote slow and homogeneous maturation of the cherries, guaranteeing exceptional aromatic complexity. This lot, from a washed process, reveals a cup with a juicy attack with a beautiful bright acidity, typical of the SL-28 variety, quickly balanced by a generous sweetness which brings roundness and harmony. In the cup, notes of blackcurrant intertwine with a spicy touch of cardamom, supported by a sweet depth of date in the finish
