At Bell Lane, we’re inspired by Kisinga’s dedication to empowering farmers and preserving the region’s unique terroir—nestled high in the Rwenzori Mountains. Here, coffee grows at extreme elevations, maturing slowly to develop more complex and distinctive cup profiles. Reaching these remote farms requires an old-school solution—donkeys. The cherries they deliver are carefully sorted into exclusive “donkey lots”, allowing farmers to sell freshly picked red cherries instead of parchment or dried cherries, increasing quality and earnings. Expect a vibrant, fruit-forward cup, reflecting the care and innovation of the farmers, with tropical notes of blueberry and strawberry
