Gesha - Washed - Abu Coffee, GW-3210
About This Coffee
The cherries are hand-collected at peak ripeness and then carefully hand-selected. They then undergo an anaerobic process in which the cherries are pulped and “dry fermented” for 42 hours in closed GrainPro bags submerged in spring water, before being fully hand-washed with fresh mountain spring water. After washing, the coffee is dried on raised beds for 15 days. José Luttrell is the producer behind Abu Coffee, a family-owned project in the Cañas Verdes region of Boquete, Panama. The farm is named in honor of José’s grandmother, nicknamed “Abu,” who instilled in the family a deep respect for nature and community. Inspired by this legacy, José has focused on creating a boutique coffee project centered on sustainability, innovation, and exceptional quality
