About This Coffee

This coffee comes from the Wild West of the Big Island, Puna, near the Io Kea (white hawk) area. They grow over rocky, volcanic landscapes with little soil and massive amounts of rain. Interaction with the young volcanic landscape may contribute to the mineral-like flavors in many Puna coffees, that are similar to the slate flavors common in German white wines
