About This Coffee

Finca San Jose is located in the Santa Ana Volcano, in Juayua, Sonsonate. It has a total area of 70 hectares in which 56 hectares of coffee plantation and 14 hectares of natural rainforest. Finca San Jose was established in the late 1890s by the Ruffatti family. In 2015, it became part of Café Tuxpal Estate farms owned by our friends, Federico and the Pacas family. It has since undergoing extensive coffee plants renovation, selecting a diverse group of varietals in order to produce a bigger spectrum of cup profiles and at the same time, increasing the crop yields
