About This Coffee

Riakiberu Coffee Factory is located in the Kamacharia area of the Murang'a district and falls under the Kamacharia Farmers Cooperative Society, which brings together around 700 small farmers. The main variety grown is SL28, with a smaller proportion of Batian and Ruiru 11. The region is characterized by fertile red volcanic soil, high altitude and cooler temperatures (16-26 °C), which together with annual rainfall of around 1,200 mm create ideal conditions for coffee cultivation
