Private Collection El Velo is a mix of high performing Geisha washed microlots from Hacienda La Esmeralda’s El Velo Farm. Each microlot was washed and dried at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s mill in Palmira. The microlots that make up this mix were selected by Daniel and Rachel Peterson after many days of cupping. The cup is intensely floral and perfumed, with jasmine and lavender leading the profile and a creamy floral sweetness that can read as candied sugar or soft dairy notes. Bright mandarin and ripe stone‑fruit bring juicy lift, while delicate violet accents add refinement. The mouthfeel is silky and sweet, with a long, fragrant finish that lingers on floral sugar and citrus fruit
