Costa Rica Corralillo
About This Coffee
Floral flavours like green apple and chamomile with a hint of acidity like plum and grapefruit. The light savouriness, which is more like peanut butter than a strong nuttiness, also has a role to play as a coffee that you would want to drink every day. In the Central Valley area coffee has been produced for over 200 years, making it the longest producing area in Costa Rica. The high altitude, abundant rainfall and sunshine, and fertile soil are all factors that contribute to the production of good quality coffee. The coffee lots are produced by small farmers belonging to the Coopelibertad - Cooperative for Freedom and Liberation. In our opinion, high quality coffee is coffee that has sweetness and free from astringency. They produce such coffees throughout the area. We tend to choose coffees with a distinctive character from well-known farms, but we want you to pay attention to these coffee as a daily drink
