This is our first time buying from Mil Cumbres, after tasting their coffee for a few years, we got in touch with Mario from Mil Cumbres and visited him last time we were in Panama. The drive up to his farm is quite treacherous, with frequent flooding, steep cliffs, and a worn out track guiding the way. But once you're there, it's a stunning view almost from coast to coast of Chiriqui. The farm sits on a ridge from Volcan Baru where a very unique microclimate exists - with a mix of sun and heavy clouds all within a few minutes of each other, along with persistent winds
