About This Coffee

Faustino Flores Benegas is an independent, second-generation coffee producer. With the support of his wife, Sarah, and son, David, the family cultivates Caturra, Red Bourbon, and Catimor varieties alongside guava, bananas, and around 30 large cedar trees—the inspiration for their farm’s name, El Cedro. Since 2018, they have been steadily improving the farm’s infrastructure and striving for higher-quality coffee. In 2022, their coffee earned a spot in the national round of Peru’s prestigious Cup of Excellence competition
