Peru Buena Vista (Bourbon)
About This Coffee
Buena Vista Farm in Ihuamaca City is a family-run farm inherited by Clever Neira and Vanessa Neira from their parents 36 years ago. For about 6 years, the farm was left untouched, but the Neira brothers decided to work together and their full-scale coffee cultivation began. In 2020, with the help of their family, they planted 1,700 Geisha and 4,000 Bourbon varieties, and say that their passion for coffee grows with each harvest. In March 2023, they added 2,500 Bourbon trees to expand the farm and expand its production activities. The Neira brothers pay close attention to every step of the process, from planting to cupping, and produce their coffee aromas with confidence and pride. Buena Vista Farm is also engaged in environmentally conscious activities, practicing forest farming by planting native tree species such as cedar and walnut on the boundaries of the farm. They also own a small secondary forest and practice beekeeping in an environmentally friendly manner.
