About This Coffee

In the northeastern corner of Kirinyaga County lies Kamwangi Coffee Factory, located near the buffer zone surrounding Mount Kenya National Park. The towering presence of the snow capped Mount Kenya plays a fundamental role in the coffee production and lives of those who live in Kirinyaga. Coffee is then dried on tables in the sun for anywhere from 12 to 20 days depending on the climate. We're excited to offer coffee from the Kamwangi washing station for the very first time, and hope to continue to offer it on our menu for years to come.
