About This Coffee

Chacayá is grown by a community of smallholders on a large former estate perched on the slopes above Lake Atitlán. Chacayá has a lower acidity and a more approachable profile than coffees from the Huehuetenango highlands, with milk chocolate, cherry and hazelnut notes. What was once the grand Finca Chacayá estate has become a network of independent farms, providing a livelihood for 150 families, shaped by their hands and their histories
